I've been thinking a lot about metaphors and how we combine information for effective storytelling of late. I got a couple of new books on the topic, both of which I'm planning to immanently write about (please hold your breath I've been so forthcoming as of late).
In the mean time, my friend and colleague Victor pointed me to this piece. Not exactly what I've been working on but loving the vin diagrams where the common subset intersection of three things is unexpected or antithetical to the individual sets.
kinda funny too...

http://indexed.blogspot.com/ is something you might enjoy. BTW -- you might want to turn on spellcheck -- I'm pretty sure it's Venn diagrams -- I remember because it's so close to Vann.
