Yesterday this is the sum total of what happened. One of our neighbors discarded an old door with wrestler painted on the back in our dumpster (had I shown you a picture of the dumpster?). It seems the crew's van broke down on the L.I.E. They come from about 2hrs out on the Island according to the lead framer. So basically a no-show.
They came back today to finish the demolition and begin framing the attic. As you see we're missing a big chunk of house. The framer just came down and said the way they were planning to put the new floor joists in may have a problem. It seems they didn't account for how the row houses were joined together. They've called the architect and the project manager to come take a look; the framer said the architect may be here today, but as it's a sweltering heat-wave Saturday and the roof has been fully removed, I bet they're done.
